State of the Block: Intern Update
I just did the math and I’m set to work 173 hours at the DCCC this fall. Unfortunately (or perhaps very fortunately), this is the last you’re going to be reading about it.
I just signed a waiver that said I absolutely will not publish about it without express permission. I’ve singed waivers like this before, but they’ve always been rather lax. This one is undoubtedly not. To be fair, this is probably going to be the most high pressure office I’ll have yet been a part of. There’s a lot more sensitive information that I’ll have access to.
I’m still going to journal about it, but it’ll be tucked in safely and neatly in the private posts. I’m there for 18 days, a remarkably shorter time period than what I’ve done before, but I’m certain I’m going to learn a lot.
Stay tuned for more Prime Movers posts and for my November application to my news mecca, NPR. Until January, it’s a DCCC blackout.
